If you have never heard of Striker before, they really make some useful products. This is the best picture of the product that I am reviewing from them, the Capsule Task Light. Yes, I know this sounds like an ad campaign, but this is “four lights in one”.

So, what does this particular light do? Well, let’s start with a headlamp, allows you to put it on your head so you can shine a light where you are looking or reading. If you don’t want it on your head, you can use the magnets on it to “rotate, lock, and aim” for light anywhere. The third use implements the spring steel clip for a right-angle work light so it can work on a belt or pocket. Then there is a lanyard to wrap around your wrist for a simple hand flashlight.

Oddly enough, I don’t think I have covered all of the features. It does require 3 AAA batteries, which are included. It also has all the necessary accessories like the aforementioned lanyard. One more stat that you’ll need: it lasts 55 hours and shines up to 60 lumens.

You can purchase the Capsule Task Light in places like Newegg for a price of $24.95. According to the main site, it won’t be available in stores or online until August. Don’t ask me how I got a chance to try it out now.
