ECW520 Cloud Managed 2x2x2 Indoor Tri-Band WiFi 7 Access Point

August 22, 2025 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

Okay, I had a chance to review another EnGenius product, with the Cloud Managed ECW520. It is a tri-band WiFi 7 AP featuring a 2 x 2 x 2 antenna configuration, offering speeds of 5,800 Mbps on 6GHz, 4,300 Mbps on 5GHz and 700 Mdps on 2.4 GHz. The access point has one 2.5 GbE PoE + Ethernet port, ensuring gigabit performance and facilitating placement in enterprises.

So there is coverage for up to 1,250 square feet and support to 500 plus connected devices. You can get smooth streaming and video conferencing with unmatched speeds up to 10.8 Gbps. You can experience faster throughput and installation flexibility with up to 100 meters away with the 2.5 Gbe PoE port.

There is also protection for Wi-Fi with the latest WPA3 enterprise for WPA3 for top-notch security. Thanks to the app, you can manage all the APs with EnGenius Cloud. There is a great network setup and management with simple device registration and remote monitoring.

You can also mount it very easily, and I think I might have demonstrated that when I reviewed the ECW516L. You should be able to get this on the EnGenius website for about $189.00.

Facts About The Company

I am told that this is a cloud-driven leader within the connectivity space, bring lots of cloud focused products for the past 20 years.

What Does This Company Make?

Like I said, there are a lot of great products like Wireless Access Points, Network Switches, SD-WAN Gateways, and Power Distribution Units. Oh, there is also AI Surveillance and even phones.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

I got to admit that I don’t really review a lot of access points, but I have reviewed a lot of routers. Maybe you want to look up those.
