Clearly there is a huge market for iPhone 5 covers and cases, and I usually try and report on the ones that are different.

I have reported on the Lifeproof, Otterbox, and other iPhone 5 cases like the ones from SEIDO. Most of these cases are pretty ordinary, and snap on in two places.

What makes the Acase Citta different is that it is the iPhone slides right in through the side. This does free up the buttons on the side, but it does stay in place on the phone.

The back side of the phone has an interesting texture that will stay in your hand, unless you coat your hand with vegetable oil or something. This case is certainly tough enough to protect the iPhone 5, while remaining light enough to not to burden the user.

I had a chance to try out the Acase Citta case for the iPhone 5, but I wasn’t able to find it on their main site. I did find it on Amazon for $19.99.
