It seems like I keep hearing stuff about how cell phones emit electromagnetic radiation, and can’t help but wonder if it will really be harmful. This is one of those issues like climate change, where one side thinks there is a definite connection, while the other isn’t certain whether there is enough scientific evidence.
Whatever the answer is, apparently this particular Lunecase is able to harness this radiation into power. That alone got me interested in hearing more about this, and the Lunecase uses this energy to do all kinds of stuff without any use of batteries.
Apparently, this case will glow in certain shapes on the back of the phone to give notifications. That is quite cool, and I am told it is a snap-on case that doesn’t have to be plugged in to the phone itself.
This is one of those crowdfunded projects, which means you need to fund it to get it. You can get $39, or get it engraved for about $99.
Now, if this whole cellular phone electromagnetic radiation thing could be exposed, that could change everything. Would using it to power your phone make it less dangerous?
