I have a lot of experience doing with Olloclip, so much so that I won’t even bother putting hyperlinks to my last review. I might as well include the Galaxy S5 review.
I know what to expect from these Olloclip products from what I reviewed in the past. For those who are not familiar with Olloclip, they are lenses that you can put on your smartphone for some cool pictures. Like most other Olloclip products, it has four particular lenses that include Fisheye, Wide-angle, Macro 10X, and Macro 15X.
What is interesting about the iPhone 6 models is it can be used for both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. I’ve never heard of any Olloclip model that is compatible like that. This would be like an iPhone 5 accessory that is compatible with the iPhone 5C. Normally, the Olloclip is made to clip on to the width of the iPhone, but this is designed to clip on the thickness of it.
Then there is another bonus: it can work on both the front and rear-facing cameras. This is because, as I said before, this version of the Olloclip clips on the thickness of it. So if you want to use the Wide-angle lens on your selfies and then a Macro to see things further away on the rear camera, that can happen.
All this, and another bonus. One of the issues with the Olloclip is that it had to be put on quickly, but that can be inconvenient. You can put this version of the Ollclip on a pendant that it comes with. Actually, it has three pendant clips.
Well, I got this Olloclip iPhone 6 to test out, and it is available for pre-order here for $79.99.
