I don’t know if you are familiar with the term lucid dream, but it is when the dreamer is aware that he or she is dreaming and, to some degree, control the participation in the dream itself.

Imagine if you had some sort of device that could give you a lucid dream. This is what Bitbanger Labs is offering with the Remee. Apparently, it will blink red lights on your eyes during the REM portion of the sleep cycle. Somehow, these lights will register in your mind and inform you that you are dreaming, triggering the lucid dreams.

I have no idea if this will actually work, but the device appeared on Kickstarter, looking for $35,000. It has gained about $572,000. The mask will cost $95 when it comes out.
