This next product that I am reviewing is very unusual, and normally when I post an image of it, I swipe it off the company website. In the case of the TickTime Countdown, I took a picture of this product.
I did that for two reasons: 1) This is one of those Indiegogo projects, and I couldn’t really get a decent screenshot of it. Part of that is because every shot I see of it has an eight-sided shape, while mine is just a cube. 2) When I Googled the product, every image search had this eight-sided figure. I don’t feel like putting an image here of that.
So what even is the TickTime Countdown? Well, it is a timer. Now, why in the world, in an age of smartphone and smart tablet apps would you even need a timer? The same reason you might want a calculator, or a watch. It just makes sense to have something like this.
After all, I’m sure there are still college professors and other people who just need to something for the sake of a countdown. So all you need to do is just put it down, and it counts down. If you want it for 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes, you can get that. If you want some additional time, just press on the fingerprint thing you see there, and bam!
That is about the basics of it, and this might be one of those times where you might want to skip to the video to see the product in action. You can set it so it goes off with an alarm, or a slight vibration. Also, if you put it so the screen faces up, then you will have counting up timer.
If you want to more information about this product, here’s the Indiegogo site link. I don’t know if you can buy it, in either 6-sided form or its other form.
