You know what is funny? Power used to be synonymous with batteries, but I’m guessing that the battery business went down since smartphones came about. After all, with an app for that, all you need is to charge your phone.
Hence the rise of the mobile battery business. I’m going to discuss a new type of mobile battery later this week, but for now, I’m going to discuss the Plan V charger. Plan V is so named because it uses a 9 Volt battery to charge your phone. Just when you thought batteries and mobile devices didn’t have an intersection.
If you are looking to get in on this Plan V, you can go to Kickstarter and support it. A donation of $10 will secure you a microUSB version, and it will help reach its $30,000 goal. By the way, I checked the Kickstarter site and it has achieved more than $29,000 of its thirty thousand dollar goal. Yeah, I think it will make it.
