Well, it was a big weekend for me as I traveled to the west side of Washington State, where Jet City Comic Show was happening at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center. I was there with Zharmae, the publisher that I writer for, one of them, at least.
Yes, this is my book cover again. I know that I already wrote about it here. However, I did go to Jet City Comic Show to tell all the attendants about it. Chances are, you came here to see all the cosplayers that I took pictures of. You know, like I did at PAX Prime 2014 last summer.
I have attended a lot of trade shows, usually game or tech. This would be my first comic show. I have to admit that I had a lot of fun, and so it won’t be my last. I really did meet a lot of people, and I want to thank you for allowing me to take your picture.
Please note that you can purchase the book here on Amazon in Kindle and paperback editions here. Okay, that is enough self-promotion. Hit the jump to see all the cool cosplay pictures and more.
I’ll start with Riddler and Poison Ivy. Always glad to have them.
Always glad to have Superman and Batman here too.
Glad to have Spider-Girl here. Not too familiar with this character.
Dr. Harley Quinn and a troublesome patient. This won’t be the last Harley we’ll see.
I don’t know if this is supposed to represent anyone, but I like it.
I believe these characters are Dark Molly and Black Irish from C.S. Anderson’s Black Irish Novel Series. Like me, they representing their book.
This guy is quite a Deadpool. He was fun to talk with too.
Here’s a 50’s Wonder Woman with 50’s version of the Flash in Zoot Suit. Yeah, the Lightning Bolt on his tie didn’t quite show up.
Robin and Duela Dent. If you don’t know who Duela Dent is, don’t feel too bad.
These people told me they were dressed as Homestuck. I had to look that one up. It looks interesting.
Ah, Michonne from The Walking Dead. You are such an interesting character.
This man is an Elven Scount.
I believe that these are dressed as characters from Thomas Riley’s Steampunk books. Never heard of those, but they look very cool. Check it out on Amazon here.
Not certain who this represents. I was told “Bee and Puppycat”.
We got a character from Borderlands and two Mass Effect characters here.
I really like this guy as Thor. Stayed in character very well.
I know I usually don’t do two postings of cosplayers, but I had to give Mjolnir a try.
These guys represent Larson Geekery. Check them out.
Got to have the Beast.
Then there’s Gambit.
Then the big Wolvie man himself!
Another Harley and the Joker.
This is the guy from Hellboy. His name is Karl Ruprecht Kroenen.
This is a Roller Girl, and I’ve got more later. She is one of the Deckyard Derby Dames.
This would be Gamzee. Again, I’m learning a lot of new franchises here. I believe that she bought my book, so thank you.
Boba Fett? Boba Fett? Where?
This is Lady Loki. I wish I got the staff in the photo.
This is Spoiler. If you aren’t familiar with Spoiler, read some Batman comics.
My Boy Captain America!
This one is Mary Marvel and “Superman – King of Earth”.
Lumpy Space Princess! I saw her at PAX Prime, and she was good to see again. She also bought my book, and I thank her.
Some great X-Wing pilot.
In case you missed it, these are the X-men villains Blob, Toad, and Mastermind.
Not knowing much about Star Wars expanded universe, this guy told me he was a Mandolorian. I took his word for it.
Some cool Marvel characters Power Man (Luke Cage) and Misty Knight.
Pepper Potts from the end of Iron Man 3. I didn’t guess this one right away, but it is so obvious. My bad.
Dark Phoenix. Very cool.
Don’t step on a Black Widow.
This is a Skull Jester and a Devil Fairy. If this represents some franchise, I don’t know it.
I believe that this is from Soul Eater and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
A very good Stormtrooper.
This is a Mirkwood Elf.
You might recognize these characters from Star Wars Rebels.
This is Cecil from Welcome to Night Vale. The other is Poison Ivy.
Another Robin. You know, I didn’t really have a lot of Batmans. Batmen? Whatever.
Steve Rogers and I believe the other is Black Widow? That or the agent from the first Captain America movie.
Here’s the youngest Harley Quinn that I saw.
These guys are from the show Gravity Falls. If you don’t watch it, you should check it out.
Blue Beetle, Robin, and Superboy (all girls).
She-ra, Princess of Power!
This guy is Jake the Tardis.
This must be another Gambit! What is this, a Gambit gambit?
Another Harley!
This is Darth Revan, who I’ve never heard of. Another Extended Star Wars Universe thing.
A Female Captain America? Why not?
Batgirl and Harley Quinn. They don’t look too happy to see each other.
I am told this is Fem! Prussia and L from Death Note. Not familiar with these franchises.
More of the Dockyard Derby Dames. One of them is Squirrel Girl.
The Scarlet Witch!
Assassin’s Creed person!
Now, this is a D & D character and Rassan from Dragon Age. By the way, Rassan actually won the costume contest.
It’s a me! Mario!
This is like three franchises. Misty from Pokemon, Deadpool, and Captain Janeway from Star Trek.
It’s Uhura! Very fantastic!
Here is Storm.
This is Joe. He is pretty awesome.
We’ve got another hobbit on our hands!
Whoa! Black Widow again!
This is a Deltan from Star Trek. Think back to the first Motion Picture.
The Winter Soldier
Tony Stark.
The Hot Dog Man
The Winter Soldier and the Weiner Soldier.
Another Harley and Joker.
This was a lady at espionagecosmetics.com. Check it out.
Another Tony Stark. Is it a decoy!
Another Harley Quinn!
One of those Biker Scouts!
Minty Poison cosplay? This was written under character description.
This is Lady Amalthea from The Last Unicorn. It was written by Peter S. Beagle, who was there at Jet City.
A female joker, not Harley Quinn.
Not a hobbit, but a character from Attack on Titan.
This is a family in all sorts of costumes.
It’s She-Hulk and the Queen of Hearts from some Alice game.
Okay, Richard Hatch (not the one from Survivor) was on both Battlestar Galactica shows. You couldn’t talk to him unless you bought one of his photos, so I just kind of took one. This concludes our photos.
