I personally think that the idea of an ordering counter should be passe. We live in an age of “there’s an app for that”, and we really should just come to the counter and select our favorite foods on a touchscreen.

Chaotic Moon Studios has created a kind of interactive table that allows you to order your pizza in such a way so it is very visual. You will note that you can see your pizza order, and it is like making a pizza in front of you. You can select the crust, sauce, cheese, and then you can slap on whatever toppings that you want.

Yeah, you know that I got to love this. In fact, I remember waiting a long time at a Pizza Hut, and I really wished that I could just order up right there. I’m sure that these touchscreens probably cost a lot, but is it cheaper to hire a waiter or waitress to take the orders? I got to love technology for creating these weird dilemmas.
