Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

So we’re going to be reviewing three products here from NEEWER, and two of them are the PS099E and the PS099EP, a couple of V Mount Batteries.

Our Review of the PS099E and PS099EP V Mount Batteries

So, I had some interesting encounters with NEEWER products, and I had a chance to review these two mobile batteries with the PS099E and the PS099EP. Now, these are not the type of mobile batteries that I regularly review, which are usually the type that you use with your smartphone when you run out of juice on the road.

No, these are some serious batteries designed for some serious photo and video equipment. I didn’t really have any of that lying around, but trust me, if I did, I would seriously make some better videos. The PS099E can be charged in just a few hours (three), and it can charge an iPhone 14 Pro about six times, Canon EOS about eight times, an iPad Pro 12.9 about three times, a MacBook Pro about 1.5 times, and a special type of light for 1.5 times.

The PS099E has a USB-C port and USB-A port, as well as a port for 8V and 12V. It also has a BP/D TAP as well. Another great feature is an intelligent battery management system to protect against short circuits, over-voltage, over current, overcharging, and over-discharge.

Oh, and did I mention that is it portable and airline friendly? Well, it is. You can get it on the NEEWER site for about $194.99.

Okay, I’m going to talk about the PS099EP now. It is a little more expensive, and the shape is a little different, and it charges quicker at just two hours. Oh, there is also an extra port for the USB-C as well.

Some of the stats on the charges are 5 times for the iPhone 15 Pro, the iPad Pro 12.9 tablet for 2 times, the MacBook Pro for 1 time, and that big light for 1.5 times. You should be able to get the PS099EP for about $239.99 on the NEEWER site.

Our Review of the NEEWER Neck Holder Mount Pro

So, this NEEWER Neck Mount is quite something. This thing has quite a necklace that is very bendable, and I recommend you see that video for a demonstration. Honestly, I’m a bit more proud of that particular video than the one for the V Mount Batteries, because I was able to get a cool demonstration of this one.

Well, a good demonstration minus the GoPro, only because I couldn’t find the GoPro. Still, this guy has some kind of mount where you can stick on your smartphone, and then you can start filming. At first, I thought it was something so you can film yourself as you go, but honestly, it’s better to film what is front of you. Granted, you might have to stick on the included magnet ring, but I believe if you have an iPhone with MagSafe, it should work just fine.
