Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
So, I have to say that BougeRV made quite a cooler, or should I say a portable fridge? It could be classified as either, right? Let’s just say that it could be.
It’s a pretty great product, for sure, and I might as well start with the color, which is very unique. I mean, if you want to choose a color for your cooler, you usually have to pick from red and blue if you go to the sporting goods section at your local Wal-Mart Coleman collection. I believe that it is classified as Purple, but I think it is more lavender or lilac.
Not only is the color unique, its feature is very unique. Basically, if you plug in this BougeRV Portable Fridge, it will seriously cool itself. I am told that it can cool in about 16 minutes, but it might take a little longer than that. That is, this is what I tested it for, and I thought it took a little longer to cool down, but not too much longer.
I’m going to have to give a retraction, because I could have sworn that when I tested it for the first time, I unplugged this portable refrigerator and it stayed on. Maybe I saw what I wanted to see, but since I could never get that result to repeat, I’m going to have to say that it is not possible. Also, I checked out the website, and they don’t seem to talk about this feature, so I’m going to say that you will need to keep it plugged in to keep working. The company makes a big battery that can help bring power to the BougeRV portable fridge, and I would presume other products, too.
That being said, I’m guessing that you will want to use it as a cooler, and I have no idea how long you could keep some food or drink cold with it unplugged. Fortunately, there are two plugs: one for the wall, and one for the car. Speaking of plugs, there is a USB-A port that comes in handy for charging pretty much any USB-powered device.
So, in its Eco Mode it has 36W Energy Efficiency, and a Max Mode of 45W Fast Cooling. So what does that mean? You can keep the food cold at 32-50 degrees Fahrenheit, or frozen at -7-32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Facts About The Company
From what I read on the company’s “About Us” site, Bouge RV was founded by a group of outdoor mobile adventurers. The name comes from the French word bouger which means to move, so I am guessing that it is pronounced like it rhymes with rouge. Yeah, you can watch the video to see that I wasn’t certain how to pronounce this company name.
But you can see that BougeRV makes something for off-grid adventurers for creating a sustainable future with green energy. You know, stuff that will help you with the journey, and not the destination.
What Does This Company Make?
Like I said, BougeRV makes a lot of stuff that is devoted to a lot of outdoors products, also “off the grid”, and I think the fact that the company has “RV” in its title is a good indicator of who their audience is.
I hope that we can review their products in the future, because I’m liking what I see here, such as the solar panels, portable power station, and electric coolers.

I found that there is only one review of this product on the website, and its a five-star one. I found a similar product on Amazon in a different color which has a rating of 4 and a half stars out of 2,512 reports.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
I have to admit that this is the first cooler that I have reviewed, but this isn’t really a cooler. I would love to review a refrigerator, but someone would have to ship me one.
