Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
All right, how often is it that I review a power tool? Clearly not often enough. Fortunately, Litheli is here for me with the U20 20V Brushless Drill Driver.
So, why is it a brushless drill driver? Well, a brushless drill is a power tool that uses an electronic control system instead of traditional carbon brushes to power its motor, resulting in increased efficiency, longer battery life, and more power.
I can testify to the more power, and I did some screwing around to try that out. As for the longer battery life, I would have to run a few more tests. This might be a good time to discuss the battery. What is cool is how you can pop it out, and then recharge it with an ordinary USB-C. Oh, and the battery has a USB-A port so you can charge up a mobile device if you aren’t screwing around.
There are about 17 settings of screwdriver on it that you can twist and lock into place, along with the drill functionality. There is apparently a built-in LED worklight, to help visibility.
The whole drill weighs in at 2.6 pounds, so it’s pretty light. If you like to give this a try, head on over to the Litheli website and pay $75.67 for it, but you might be able to get a deal at $59.99.
Facts About The Company
Litheli is dedicated to bringing Next-Gen Power Tools for DIY lovers, and they compare their founding to that of Benjamin Franklin discovering electricity.
What Does This Company Make?
I’m seeing all kinds of things dealing with Outdoor power like Snow blowers, Hedge Trimmers, Chainsaws, and then there’s the Outdoor Gear. That Gear includes these portable backpack refrigerators, and electric carying carts. Then there are these power tools, and we had this sample, and I’m wondering if we can sample more, much more.
