ZAGG Holidays 2017, Part 2: Invisible Shield Glass+ and Glass Curve Collection of Screen Protectors

October 31, 2017 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

I’ve been doing a lot of work with ZAGG products, and it seemed very likely that I was going to do some work with Invisible Shield. If you are not familiar with Invisible Shield, they make this screen protectors, and they may have been doing it before screen protectors became a thing. I had a chance to review five of their screen protectors.

Unlike some of the other leading brands of screen protectors that I will be talking about later, this Glass+ protectors have 3 times the shatter protection vs. an unprotected screen. Part of it is the new Ion Matrix technology, which the company boasts as the most advanced impact and shatter protection available for resistance against scratches.

As far as the other parts are concerned, it is full of layers including a smudge resistant layer, some scratch-resistant tempered glass, then the Ion Matrix impact protection, followed by the final layer of bubble-free application adhesive.

It is worth noting that these particular screen protectors are pretty easy to install, and they are smudge resistant and easy to clean. This is because of the EZ Apply tabs, and the company’s boast of “watch as Glass+ does the rest” is true.

Yes, it is all very good, and the Glass+ for the iPhone X is available on the ZAGG site for $39.99. For those that want the one for the iPhone 6/6S/7, just go to the ZAGG site here. I’m not certain if it is compatible with the iPhone 8, but I will have to check. Then there is the Glass+ for the Apple iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus/7 Plus, go here to the ZAGG site.

Well, as you can see by the above links, there isn’t really much difference between the Glass+ for individual models. Fortunately, I got a little variety when I tried out the Glass+ for the Google Pixel 2, and it is available on the ZAGG site here. All Glass+ is available for $39.99.

Now it is time to talk about the Glass Curve, as I had a chance to review the one for the Google Pixel 2. This is some interesting protection, as it is curved so it fits the design of Google’s phone.

The Glass Curve is made with an all-clear adhesive in order to fit solidly on the phone, and it is also made to be very touch sensitive as well. In short, it is quite the great screen protector for the scratch protection.

You should be able to get the Glass Curve for the Google Pixel 2 XL on the ZAGG site for $49.99.
