Well, since this is my fifth book, I need to do my job to promote it. Actually, this would be the 2nd Edition of my first book, so can I count it as a new book?
This was the first time I have worked with another author, and I will have to say that Roy Sandberg was very good at what he does. I will be honest and say that I knew little about marketing Android apps when I wrote the first edition of The Business of Android Apps Development. Roy Sandberg really helped me write this, and I had to give him some kudos.
The book is about how to use cost-effective marketing in order to get an application on Google Play as well as other Android markets, which I didn’t really cover in my first edition. In my first book, I focused more on Android programming, because I honestly didn’t know much about it and was learning so much as I was writing. With this book, Roy helped me write about what it really takes to market an Android app, including ads, stores within the app, as well as design and user testing. There is also a whole chapter on legal issues, something that I barely covered in my first edition.
Nothing I like more than getting a positive review, and we actually have one on Amazon. You can check it out here, and hey, buy it for a normal list price for $29.99. I’m sure you can get it for a cheaper price, though.
