Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
I’m pleased to see that Speck is up to its old tricks, and I got to see them again at CES 2025. We have about eight products to review from them.
Our Review of the Speck Presidio Lux Glitter for iPhone 16 Plus Case
Okay, so we’ll start with this particular product with ClickLock Interlock no-slip technology, and I think it applies to the way MagSafe accessories link to it. It may also apply to the placement of the phone in the case.
In addition to this feature, there is also raised bezel to protect the phone screen from scratching and such. It also has an antimicrobial treatmeant and resistant up to 13 feet worth of drops.
Oh, and it also has a ton of glitter on it. You can get it for about for about $49.99 on the Speck website.
Our Review of the Speck Presidio2 Grip for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro
I’m going to do a two-for-one review here, as the Presidio 2 Grip is the same for different models. Well, these next cases aren’t as clear as some of the the others, but it does have other features that are similar. Like the raised bezel, for example.
It’s pretty clear that it is called the Grip for a reason. I mean, look at all the ribbed edges on the sides of this phone case, and you will see how well it will fit in your hand.
Oh yes, and it is also set up for the magnet power of the Galaxy S25 for some serious magnetic charging. I should also mention the 13 feet of drop testing.
You should be able to get the Presidio2 Grip on the Speck website for a price of $49.99 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. You can get it for the same price for the iPhone 16 Pro here.
Our Review of the Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear for iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24/S25
Since I received the Perfect Clear case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max for the Samsung Galaxy S24/S25, I decided to just do another two-for-one deal here. After all, the features are pretty much the same.
The one for the iPhone has the MagSafe capability, while the one for the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25 is good for that magnetic charging feature. Both of them are tested for 13 feet of drop protection, and they also have antimicrobial product protection.
Yes, it is pretty clear why you should get this for your smartphone, and it comes in a lot of great models. Here is the one for the iPhone 16 Pro Max here, and the one for the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25 here. Both are priced at $49.99.
Our Review of the Speck Presidio Lux for iPhone 16
Okay, I suppose I could have done another two-for-one deal on this particular version of the Presidio Lux, but honestly, this case is so cool that I wanted to give it its own entry. I mean, look at the colors on this particular model, I couldn’t stop gushing over them in the video.
As far as the features are concerned, I’m seeing similar ones to the other ones that I have already talked about, like the 13-feet of drop protection, raised bezel, and that antimicrobial coating.
You want it? Go get it, for a price of $49.99 on the Speck website.
Our Review of the Speck Presidio Sandybank Wireless Charger for MagSafe
Now, for these last two products, they are not really cases. In fact, the StandyBank is a Portable Wireless Charger, something that I have reviewed several times before.
Then again, I’ve reviewed several mobile chargers before, and it really is only a matter of telling my subscribers about how much power it can hold, and how it distributes it when it needs to charge it. Then there are also fun features, such as how it can magnetically lock with your smartphone, and how it can even stand up. That one is starting to be a real commonality.
I suppose it is because everyone needs something like this. You can get it on the Speck site for about $59.99.
Our Review of the Speck Wallet for MagSafe
I will have to admit that I really put in this Wallet for MagSafe as an afterthought. I mean, I didn’t even really give it a proper unboxing, really! It’s pretty obvious what this thing does, you just magnetically lock in on the back of your smartphone!
From there, you can put in one or even three of your credit cards, debit cards, or an ID card. I believe that it locks on very tight with the power of Click Lock, so that will insure that it won’t slip off. I’ve seen these card holders on a lot of smartphones, and they usually have adhesive with them.
You can get it on the Speck site for about $29.99.
Facts About The Company
So, Speck has been in business since 2001, and located in Silicon Valley. The landscape of mobile devices has changed a lot since 2001, and I believe that it supports “Life, Better Lived”.
What Does This Company Make?
I associate Speck with smartphone cases, and they also make iPad and AirPods cases, also for the MacBook. It appears that Speck makes bags as well! We’re going to have to do some more reviews, man. Yeah, I should contact them about the bags.
Just the Specs, Man
If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you! In this case, I’m going to list the features.
I have to admit that most of the cases have such similar features, that I didn’t really bother to list them.
If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.
Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!
Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
Okay, are you really asking me to say it there are other iPhone and Galaxy S25 cases? Man, do I really want to do the research?
Nah, I don’t really have the unction to do that, because we have done so many already. Yes, you can find them by doing a search for cases, and products similar to the StandyBank can be found just by looking for chargers.
