Samsung’s New Galaxy Mega has a 6.3 inch screen, or 5.8 inch

April 11, 2013 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

originalEven though that Samsung Galaxy IV is not out yet, Samsung is still unveiling all kinds of phones. I’ll discuss the Win later, but for now, I want to bring up the subject of the Mega.

I suppose the huge selling point of the Mega is the large screen, available in 5.8 and 6.3 inch versions. Clearly, someone is thinking that bigger is better as far as Phablets are concerned. This is bigger than the 5.5 inch Galaxy Note 2.

In addition to the large 720p display, the 6.3 inch version has a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, LTE Connectivity, and 8 GB or 16 GB storage. The 5.8 version has a qHD display, HSPA connectivity, 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, and 8GB of storage. Both of the models have 8 Megapixel cameras, 1.5 GB of RAM, microSD slot, IR blasters, and Jelly Bean.

I have no idea of the price, but I’m a little more concerned about the weight of the Mega in the pocket than the affect on the pocketbook.
