I have been hearing a lot of talk about smartwatches these days, and I think it has to do with the rumored iWatch. Yeah, if Apple is going to try and create another market, there is bound to be some imitators.
Yes, this is the Microscoft version of the iWatch, so I guess we could call it the Zune Watch. I believe the Xbox team was working on this, and now the Surface team is giving it a try.
I don’t really know much about this, but this smartwatch apparently uses Windows 8, and is rumored to have 6 GB of internal storage. It also plans to have some wrist bands, and they are coated with Oxynitride Aluminum, which is a translucent aluminum that is three times harder than glass.
And, is that a removable Bluetooth headset I see to the side? If it is, that could change things. I suppose we will have to see if this is really true, and if it will compete with the supposed smartwatch market.
