Well, I think you know about the marriage equality thing, and you might have been on Facebook and seen many of your friends’ profiles being all Rainbow Dashed (that isn’t a My Little Pony reference).

I suppose that since this is technically a Christian blog, and that was kind of a pun there. This could be the point where I talk about the seriousness of the Supreme Court’s decision, but I’m not going to do that.

It is quite possible that the whole application to change your profile could be a way for Facebook to keep tabs on users. I’m not certain whether or not that is true because there is some serious conspiracy theory stuff that I have to swallow for that. After all, there was a that equals signs that were being used on profiles a while ago.

I have this to say about this: if you don’t want Facebook to know your views about LGBT orientation, don’t post about it? I mean, isn’t the whole point of Facebook and social networking to get your self out there? If you don’t want someone to know something about you, don’t put it on a social network!
