I have reported on stuff from G-Form before, such as the X-Protect for the last generation of iPhone. The company is becoming famous for putting their products through incredible tests, such as a hockey slapshot on an iPhone case.
I suppose that I should not be surprised that G-Form put one of their latest products, a protective case, on a 5th generation iPod Touch and let it fall from a height of 100,000 feet. G-Form used a balloon to get about as high as Felix Baumgartner, and then released it. There is footage in the video, and it is similar to the videos I have seen of amateurs putting cameras on hot-air balloons and getting awesome shots of Earth from space.
The phone landed near Area 51, which I suppose proves that it does exist. At least it proves that G-Form case can withstand the biggest impacts.
