Considering that Verizon is taking pot shots at AT&T for their spotty coverage, there is a free app available for iPhone users that addresses this issue. Essentially, if you encounter a dropped call, coverage gap, or other network problem, then you can contact “611” to attempt to resolve the issue.

Of course, you have to be able to make a phone call where you are, right? Yeah, I’m thinking that this is just a way for AT&T to counter that claim by Verizon. Let’s hope they listen.
