Every once in a while, I like watching some movie with CG effects to show what it would be like to live in some fairy-tale like city. The other day, I was watching that Thor movie, and while I didn’t really like the film, I enjoyed seeing its portrayal of the Golden Realm of Asgard.

Every once in a while, I wonder if heaven is anything like these cities from fantasy. Personally, I think it is going to be a whole lot better.

Still, if you want to live in a home from heaven on Earth, may I recommend this Origami House? This is a folding house that can do eight different configurations, depending on its season. If you want to see how it works, watch the video after the jump.

The home is a veritable sundial, and it rotates its master bedroom to face the sun. Imagine being in a room where you see the sun from its rise to its setting.

I will have to say that it doesn’t look like this home is built yet, even though the video has some realistic shots of it. The thing that makes it slightly unbelievable is the hinges, which look a little too untrustworthy, from an architectural standpoint.
