Does anyone think it is odd that most homes have a dial thermostat on the wall? Why hasn’t that gone digital, really?
While I was at CES 2013, I encountered a company called Allure Engergy, who has created the EverSense 2.0. This device controls the home temperature with NFC capability, and it has a lot of advantages over the traditional thermostat.
For example, it allows the user to set the temperature for certain times. You don’t have to turn down the thermostat when it is time to go to sleep anymore. Instead, you program it to turn down the heat while you are sleeping, and you just live your life. You save money by just programming it.
Eversense 2.0 also allows the user to adjust their temperature from a distance, such as when he or she leaves their home. I can think about how easy it would be for me to do this, as I am on the road and would like to turn down my unused heat in my house right now.
Since the EverSense 2.0 is an Android device, the user can play music on their thermostat as well. In short, this is a product that is needed for this day and age. Can we get one in every house?
