While I was at CES 2013, I saw a little robot that reminded me a lot of Number Johnny Five, except he didn’t have tank treads for legs. The robot’s name was Shimi, and it was made by a company known as Tovot you should probably just watch the video and see everything Shimi can do.

Considering how many Bluetooth speakers that I reviewed last year, it is nice to see a speaker that can essentially boogie down like I do. As you can see in the video, you can even tap a beat and Shimi will recognize it.

Shimi also is able to recognize when you are making a phone call, and will look at you while you are speaking on the phone.

Yeah, it is pretty amazing, and I wish that I could just tell you where to buy one. I’m going to check back with them in the summertime, and perhaps we are seeing the what will be the hottest Christmas gifts. If you are interested, click on the link itself.
