In case you haven’t noticed, the website had changed a lot this year. Granted, we didn’t do much work on the initial look of it, as that was last year. The issue is that we have been working with a company known as Pullman Marketing to make video unboxing and reviews, and I’m going to do a lot more video reviews.
Some of these vids will look pretty raw because they will be from my home office. Unlike the mediocre-looking talk shows, the raw look has nothing to do with COVID-19. Audio is just as important as the video portion, but fortunately, a company known as TONOR has given me two products to improve the audio in my videos, and that includes the Q9 USB Microphone Kit and the TC-777 USB Microphone, which we will review on a separate review.
As someone who knows very little about audio, I was more than pleased to see that the TONOR Q9 USB Microphone Kit literally comes with everything that you see here. Now, I honestly don’t know a lot about what I am seeing here, but I fully intend to try it out.
The TONOR Q9 Microphone has 16 mm diaphragm, with a wide frequency response of 20Hz to 20 kHz. I think that be worth the price that you are paying for it, but it also comes with this mic arm stand which has that cool folding effect that reminds me of my radio days. It also has the shock mount and pop filter and don’t really even know what the heck that is, really.
Just trust me when I say that it all leads to good sound. However, I am going to let the video do the talking. If you are into YouTube vids like I am, and you want to do some serious podcasting or even gaming stuff, then you can get the TONOR Q9 Microphone Kit on the TONOR website for $69.99, and you can also find it on Amazon for the same price.
