I have seen some interesting set-ups for vehicles of the future, and this particular one is quite interesting for a society that insists on one person-per-car, no matter how inefficient it may be for society as a whole.
This is the n-Three, and it has a single built-in electric engine that only powers the rear wheel. The steering is done with the two front wheels, and the entire frame is “modeled on the natural strength of a bird’s beak”. Yeah, that’s an actual quote from my source. Never saw those bird beaks as really strong.
Now, this is meant to be a cheaper and more-eco alternative to buying a car, especially if there is only one of you. I wonder if they are so small that they only take up half a lane, like motorcycles. If so, that could save on transportation.
Well, there is no word on pricing or availability, so we will see on this particular one.
