Dead in Bermuda Game Review

September 6, 2015 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Dead in Bermuda screen 1I had a chance to try out two games over the weekend. As you might know, I really like playing games but I don’t always have the time for them. In the case of Dead In Bermuda, I wish I had more time to give it, honestly.

Dead in Bermuda is a game that looks like it has an inspiration from the show Lost. After all, it has a group of survivors who have survived a plane crash on a mysterious island. Each of these people have different skills that will allow them to perpetuate living on the island, but it is a delicate balance to keep it that way.

In the game, you have to literally move these characters to certain places like a library (represented by a bookcase), a crafting table, a campfire, a crashed plane, as well as just somewhere in the jungle in order to find new areas on the map. All of these characters have levels of Depression and Fatigue that you have to keep low with food and proper rest, not to mention just talking around the campfire to build morale.

Dead-In-Bermuda_nxw55d1adff7d00cSome of you might be thinking that this game sounds a lot like the popular Fallout Shelter game. I would say that you are right, but I haven’t played that game yet. I’m told that it is pretty popular, and there are a lot of games like this where you have to keep some group happy and constantly taking new ground.

The game has a tutorial with about 13 lessons, and it is pretty easy to learn. I can see this game being very addictive, and as a busy writer, I have to choose my addictions carefully. This game could easily become my next crack. If I don’t post for the next few days, then I’ll probably be playing Dead in Bermuda.

Oh, if you want to see if it’s your next addictive game, head to Steam and get it for about $14.99.
