I first discovered Lumini at Momocon, and I thought it was just a beautiful looking game. I don’t know why I just love games with a lot of colorful and yet shadowy atmosphere, but Lumini has it, in spades.
Lumini is a unique game where the player is a flock of interesting birds or butterflies. There is kind of a unity thing going on as different colors of flying things can do different things, and you can split up the flyers to do certain actions that will advance the flock further.
I can’t really explain this any further, but like Tinertia, I wished I had a controller to play it with. Seriously, this game requires you to use two joysticks to work two sets of flocks, and I just couldn’t do that on the keyboard.
I just wanted to keep playing this, and so I will recommend it. It is available on Steam for a price of $12.99.
