Our Review of Tinertia

September 4, 2015 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Tinertia LogoI had a chance to review some beautiful games, and this is one that I got to see played at PAX Prime 2015. Tinertia is one of those games that is good looking and yet hard to play.

Tinertia is about a cute little robot named Weldon who ends up flying is spaceship near a planet when everything mechanical but him goes haywire. He awakes on an alien planet in the core, and must work his way up to the top.

TinertiaWeldon has no way of jumping, but he does have rocket launcher on his arm that blasts him upward. It also goes other ways, and this is what makes the game difficult. I wish I played it with a controller, as the hard part is the moving the character and blasting. With the keyboard and a mouse on Steam, I kept getting killed. There’s even some really cool boss battles, but they really need to have some huge explosion at the end.

So yeah, Tinertia is a beautiful game, it’s fun, it’s original and it’s hard. There are even some boss fights as well. It is on Steam now for $11.99 (regularly $14.99), but soon will be on PS4 as well.
