Please note how I worded the headline. Now, why would I say “Why would you make a Tetris movie” if someone were not planning on making a Tetris movie?
The answer is: because Threshold Entertainment is actually planning an adaptation. This is the same studio that bought us two Mortal Kombat movies, and sadly, the only good thing that gave us was that awesome song.
This is one of those things that I have to report on because it just sounds so ridiculous. I mean, what kind of film can you make with falling bricks that disappear when they get in a row? I would say that it couldn’t be worse than Battleship, but I’m sure this could easily prove me wrong.
