What you are seeing here is the Boomerang, which is a Kickstarter project that claims it is the only iPad mount and stand.

It took me a while to figure out what this actually does, but generally you have to choose between a mount and a stand. You can see that you can bend it so it looks like its namesake, but it doesn’t look like it will return to you when you throw it. It will fit in your pocket, though.

When it is folded in half, it is a stand that can prop of the iPad in three different positions of 65, 45, or 22 degrees. Now, if you don’t want the stand, you can use it to frame the iPad and then attach it to glass surfaces, headrests, car air-vents, suction cup, or something else.
