I think we all know that that Otterbox is the Number One most trusted in smartphone case protection. If you didn’t know that, just read the banner on the packaging for the iPhone 5 version.

Sure, I had a chance to look at the Armor Series for the iPhone 4, and I will have to admit that the one for the iPhone 5 has essentially the same features. It has those metal latches, o-ring seal, port covers, and mesh coverings that allow it to be completely waterproof up to 6.6 feet.

Oh, and it can withstand drops of 10 feet. I am also told it can withstand two tons of crushing force. That is quite a boast. I’m going to take their word for that one.

About the only thing that I would change is the color. For some reason, this Armor series seems to be available in one color: black and neon green. The neon green is in the interior, but if the iPhone is there, you won’t see the green at all.

Of course I totally recommend this, simply because it is an Otterbox product. I’m not certain if you can get better protection than this from any other mobile phone case. You can get this on the Otterbox site for about $99.95.
