Hands on with the Innergie 45-Watt USB-C Laptop Adaptor

Innergie 1It’s been a while since we reviewed an Innergie product, and they are very good at making some power supplies. In the case of the PowerGear USB-C 45, it is a 45-Wat USB-C Laptop Adapter.

This guy has a USB-C reversable plug, allowing it to be inserted both ways, so you don’t have to check if you’re doing it right. All I have to say to that is: “Thank you”.

You will also note that it has a small size, and it has four power levels that include 20V/2.25 A, 15V/3A, 12V/3A, and 5V/3A. It means that it is a very flexible USB-C laptop adapter, in fact, the most flexible adapter. It is compatible with the latest Apple MacBook, but I’m not certain how well it will do with the next type of MacBook.

Innergie 2Another thing to note is how the 1.5 meter cord wraps up, very tight against the housing itself, as you can see in the illustrations. It also comes with built-in InnerShield Protection Technology, protecting all devices from over-current, over-power, over-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuiting. By the way, it also comes with a 3 Year Limited Warranty.

If this sounds like something that you want, you should be able to get it for about $65.30 on sites like Amazon, or maybe somewhere else cheaper. You can also find out more information about the product on the Innergie site here.

Hands on with the Innergie LifeHub

Innergie LifeHubI have mentioned the LifeHub before from Innergie, and I got a chance to use it for myself. In case you hit the last link and said “big deal, it’s a charging cord”, let me tell you something.

Okay, you know when I say “let me tell you something”, it means something. Especially if you live in a house with a wife and three kids, who all seem to have gadgets that require USB charging. I think we could all use a place with three ultra-fast charging 2.1 Amp USB ports.

In addition to the necessary three USB ports, the LifeHub has a 14.7 foot (4.5 meter) cord. I say, the longer the cord, the better. Just to let you know, there is a power adapter that you have to plug in, which is a little box to the AC power cord. Yeah, I am not certain why that box has to be a part of it, but hey, this is the price for power.

The only thing that I don’t understand is why they went with this shape. It looks like a teardrop with a blue light in it, but don’t hold it against them. It actually has a cool aesthetic about it that reminds me of something that Apple would make.

In short, I really like and will recommend the LifeHub, for your life. I know that sounds campy, but what can I say? You can get it on the Innergie site for about $54.99.

Innergie helps homes with the LifeHub and PocketCell

Image-LifeHub-03-side-transparentInnergie has been doing a lot for consumers to give them more power. They have two new products that they have recently unveiled including the LifeHub and the PocketCell.

I’ll start with the LifeHub. This product is pretty aptly named as it is designed to give power to three devices from one plug-in. You know how one person charging can completely crowd an outlet? Well, not anymore.

The LifeHub has an extended cable with about 17.4 (4.5 meters) of length, and you can wind it up pretty well. There are three high power 2.1 Amp USB ports made for Android, Apple, or anything else for tablets, smartphones, and other devices.

Innergie_PocketCell_ColorOptionsAs for the PocketCell, this really isn’t a product that isn’t anything new. Yeah, it is one of those mobile batteries that I just can’t seem to stop writing about, probably because there are so very many.

The PocketCell is good for about 10,000 USB devices, and it can do the iPhone 25+ hours, the iPod 70+ hours, the iPad 4.5+ hours, a smartphone 15+ hours, a game console 10+ hours, and an MP3 player 100+ hours. Like the LifeHub, it has a 2.1 Amp USB port.

You should be able to purchase the LifeHub for about $59.99 now, but I don’t have a price for the PocketCell. Check it out on the Innergie site.
