Oh. My. Gosh. I can’t believe that we are finally reviewing some Hyper/Sanho products. I have been passing their booth every year at CES since…I can’t remember. Today, I received my first products to review, and I truly hope that they will not be my last.
HyperDrive DUO 7-in-2 for MacBook Pro/Air Review
The HyperDrive DUO 7-in-2 for MacBook Pro/Air reminds me of a recent Anker product that we have reviewed known as Anker Power Expand Direct 7-in-2 USB C Adapter. I am guessing that this type of product is valuable for MacBook Pro/Air, which is definitely what this is made for.
So, what kind of ports does this DUO 7-in-2 have? Well, it has an HDMI 4K60Hz, USB-C 40Gbps 100W PD, USB-C 5GBPS 60W PD, MicroSD/SD UHS-1, and two USB-A 5Gbps. It is perfect for just plugging in the side for home offices and any office, it comes with this removable magnetic grip as well for a real secure fit. You can also remove the magnetic grip so you can plug in the included extender for MacBook Pro/Air with cases.
If this is something that you want, you can purchase it on the Hyper shop for $99.99.
HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB-C Hub for iPad Pro/Air Review
This is another product made to just plug and play, and this one plugs into an iPad. As for the ports, we are looking at the HDMI, USB-C (Data 5Gbps/Power Delivery 60W), MicroSD (USH-I), SD (UHS-I), USB-A (5Gbps), and a 3.5 audio jack.
I am told that this is the bestselling hub for the iPad Pro and Air, but it is good for some great display output. It really is great how it just sticks in the side or bottom, as it were, and you can do a whole bunch with Apple’s favorite tablet.
Is this something that you need? Well, you are not alone, and you should be able to purchase the HyperDrive 6-in-1 Hub for iPad Pro on the Hyper Shop for $89.99.
HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger Review
So, we had some fun time reviewing some Aukey Wall Chargers, so we might as well review the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger. Apparently, this is the “most crowd-funded” 100W GaN charger, and I have been hearing “most crowdfunded” a lot with this Hyper company.
You can see the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger has two USB-C ports as well as two USB-A ports. It has the fold-down prongs, and it comes with all free EU, UK, AU pin converters so you use the HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger in any country.
Yes, it is a 100 Watts of power that you can purchase it on the Hyper Shop for $99.99.
HyperJuice 130W USB-C Battery Pack Review
So, I suppose that it just makes sense that HyperJuice has a mobile battery, and I am told that this is one of the most powerful USB-C battery pack. I’m guessing that it is the most crowd-funded as well.
By now, I have reviewed all kinds of mobile batteries, so I am sure you know what to expect. You know how most have four dots to show how much power is in them? Well, this has a circle of five lights. Awesome. Another awesome thing is that you can charge the HyperJuice 130W in about one hour, and then charge three devices at the same time.
As for the ports, it has two USB-C and one USB-A. It also comes with a USB-C to USB-C cord, and the HyperJuice 130W USB-C Battery Pack also comes with a carrying case.
I have to admire the metal brick look of this HyperJuice 130W, and if you like it, it can be purchased on the Hyper Juice site for $199.99.
HyperDrive GEN2 18-Port USB-C Hub Review
Okay, I saved the biggest for last, and I am not certain what I can say about the HyperDrive GEN2 18-Port USB-C Hub. I’ll start with something simple, like the ports themselves two HDMI 4K60Hz HDR ports, DisplayPort 4K60Hz, VGA, USB-C PD 100W, DC Power Port, USB-C 10Gbps, two USB-A 10Gbps, USB-A 2.0, USB-A QC 3.0 18W, SD UHS-II 300MB/s, MicroSD UHS-II 300MB/s, Gigabit Ethernet, Digital Coaxial Audio, Optical Toslink Audio, and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
So, as you can see, it might be easier to talk about what you can’t do with this. I have covered products like this before, and they are good for when you want to connect multiple displays or set up multiple memory sticks and so forth. It is essentially a way to turn a laptop into something that is equal in power of a serious desktop.
All that is required to do is connect the HyperDrive GEN2 18-Port USB-C Hub to an active USB-C port with the included USB-C to USB-C cable. Now if this is something that you want, head on over to the Hyper Site and pay $199.99 for it.
