Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
So, we had a chance to review more TORRAS products, and it is actually two different products with the 360 Degree Spin Case and the MiniMag Wireless Power Bank 10,000mAh.
Our Review of the TORRAS 360 Degree Spin Case for the iPhone 16 Plus
Okay, this is a review of a case that I once reviewed before, but this one with the special O-Ring is made for the newest and currently most talked about phone (at the time of this writing), the iPhone 16. Actually, this is for the iPhone 16 Plus, yeah, one of the bigger ones!
As you can see, the 360 Degree Spin Case is very clear, but its biggest selling point is the ring. That ring can bend outwards, and it can also spin. I think I talked about this in the video, but that ring can spin on certain axis and click into place.
That ring is good for propping up your phone in case you want to watch a video (or maybe film a video). I found out (almost too late while I was filming the video) was that the ring is magnetic, so you can stick your phone onto something metal, like a refrigerator. Part of it is due to the magnetic power of MagSafe.
So, I think there is a really cool price for this, and it depends on how much you want, like getting a screen protector to get with it.
Our Review of the TORRAS Ultimate Slim MiniMag Wireless Power Bank 5000mAh
Okay, I have reviewed a lot of mobile power banks, and so I always have to ask: how is this TORRAS MiniMag Power Bank (the 10,000 mAh)? Well, it is very good.
The MiniMag Power Bank is made so it can magnetically affix to a smartphone. It really works well with Qi-enabled phones, and I’m guessing that it works well with MagSafe compatible iPhones. The official website says it’s invisible on your iPhone.
Or at least it would be if I could find this particular version on the TORRAS site. I hope I am not violating some kind of embargo by reporting on it already.
So, here is one stat you probably want to know: how long does it take to charge your phone. You can charge your phone to 100 percent in just 2 hours. Like I said before, it didn’t come pre-charged, which I find odd. Let’s just assume that those stats are the same for this version.
Facts About The Company
I’m just going to guess and say that TORRAS is a relatively new company, but that could be only because I just heard of them this last year. I don’t know, I tend to see these companies tucked away at CES and assume they are newer companies. Maybe I need to stop making assumptions when I am at CES.
From what I read on TORRAS “About Us” page, the company appears to be very committed to the environment. They claim that any purchase from TORRAS will help grow more trees and create a greener planet. In fact, they have planted 1,474 trees, and plan to grow 100,000 trees by the end of 2030.
What Does This Company Make?
I have already reviewed some TORRAS iPhone 14 cases, and you can see my positive reviews of those. I have also reviewed some iPhone 15 cases just recently, and I’m guessing that we’ll probably review the iPhone 16 ones when they come out (wait a second, I just did that).
Just the Specs, Man
If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!
It doesn’t look like I have any specs on the TORRAS website, so I am going to leave this blank.
If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.
Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!
Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
Of course that I have reviewed a lot of cases in the past, not to mention a lot of power banks (or mobile batteries).
