Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
It’s been a while since we have reviewed TORRAS, and I remember them most for their cases, not to mention Neck coolers, but we were fortunate enough to review something made for power.
I’ll go ahead and start with the MiniMag Power Bank. This particular one has about 5,000 mAh of power, and also made to stick on the back of a phone with magnetic charging capability.
I am told that this weighs in about 115 grams, and it is 0.3 inches thin. As for the dimensions, you can probably compare the length and width to a playing card.
Honestly, I’m not certain what else I can say about this, other than it is a good mobile battery to have around. Then again, I would hope that we all have a good mobile battery around.
You should be able to purchase this on the TORRAS website for a price of about $59.99, possibly marked down to $43.99.
As far as the Retractable Fast Charger 67W, it is something that we have reviewed before from Sharge, but I think I can see why there is a need for a product like these.
You know how it is, you need to charge your phone, and there is an outlet, but you might have a USB charging cord but no adapter. I’m glad this has the adapter and the cord, and it works very well.
The cord extends to about 100 centimeters, and you can plug it in and get a 65 percent fast charge in just 30 minutes. In addition to the cord, there is an extra USB-C port, so you can charge two devices together.
All in all, not bad, really. If you want it, get it on the TORRAS website for a price of $54.99.
Facts About The Company
I’m just going to guess and say that TORRAS is a relatively new company, but that could be only because I just heard of them this last year. I don’t know, I tend to see these companies tucked away at CES and assume they are newer companies. Maybe I need to stop making assumptions when I am at CES.
From what I read on TORRAS “About Us” page, the company appears to be very committed to the environment. They claim that any purchase from TORRAS will help grow more trees and create a greener planet. In fact, they have planted 1,474 trees, and plan to grow 100,000 trees by the end of 2030.
What Does This Company Make?
I have already reviewed some TORRAS iPhone 14 cases, and you can see my positive reviews of those. I have also reviewed some iPhone 15 cases just recently, and I’m guessing that we’ll probably review the iPhone 16 ones when they come out (wait a second, I just did that).
