So, yes, I have been reviewing ROCCAT products for a while, and this product is not the Kone XP Air Gaming Mouse. No, this Kone Air appears to made for gaming, and I don’t remember the other one being so ergonomic.
It feels very good to be underhand, and it has something to do with the double-injected rubber side grips. This particular mouse is wireless, and there are no options for wired usage.
There is a wireless dongle, and the power comes from a battery. If you want, you can use a Bluetooth connection as well.
What is interesting is how you can use one or two batteries. I don’t think I have ever seen that type of feature on a mouse before, but it allows for 800 hours of use.
As for the buttons, you’re looking at 9 dedicated buttons into 17 programmable functions. Then it has ROCCAT’s Titan Optical Switches to provide instantaneous actuation, and with a 100 million click life cycle.
You should be able to get yourself one of these terrific mice on the Roccat site for $54.99. Check out our video below with unboxing.
