Our Review of The OUTlet

May 12, 2021 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

It’s not often that I have to start a review with multiple pics, not to mention what appears to be some serious promo material, but can you blame me with this OUTlet?

So what is the OUTlet? Well, you know how you have regular outlets on your wall, and they can hold a max of two plug-ins? Well, imagine if you had one with a USB port. Okay, this USB port feature is available on one particular model, but fortunately, that was the one that I got to review.

I’m sure that you can see that this guy has a button that you can push which will cause the OUTlet to fan out, so you will have four outlets. Oh, and two USB ports, so…that is pretty great!

I wanted to set this up on a video, but I had an issue with the box not being compatible with the port that I planned. There were a lot of wires shoved in this port, and I couldn’t get the OUTlet in without creating some worry about whether I was tampering with “the code”. I did do a video review that you can see below, though.

In addition to that feature, it is Tamper resistant. You will note that someone is dumb enough to try and put a fork to this. Why? Well, I guess that it will be safe. Seriously, I stole this image from the website, and I don’t think they would put it there unless you could do it safely.

You should be able to get the USB OUTlet for $49.99, or the Basic OUTlet for $39.99 on the Open the Outlet website.
