Netatmo, Part 3: Smart Indoor Camera

March 11, 2020 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

In case you are wondering why this is a Part 3, it is because it has been about four years since Part 1 and Part 2. Has it really been about four years since I have reviewed a Netatmo product? Yeah, it sure has. The last time, I covered the Presence home camera and the Healthy Home Coach indoor climate controller.

The Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera is a camera made for security within the house. Yes, we have covered these before, but I usually cover the ones made for the outdoors. The advantage of the Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera is it has facial recognition. It comes in handy for when you want to see if your loved ones have come home, and a notification about who is home. It is also good at detecting if some face that you don’t want is in your house, you know, like a burglar. Did I mention that if there is an alarm in your home (like fire or security), you will get an alarm on the Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera.

So lets talk about the tech specs. Well, it has full HD, night vision, as well as an extensive 130 degree field of view. It works with an SD card that plugs into the back, and plugs in to the wall then connects with your router. Then it has an app to set up with it, and it is good to set up in minutes. It works with Apple Homekit, Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

You can purchase the Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera on the Netatmo site for $199.99.
