Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

Well, it’s been a bit since we have reviewed something from TORRAS, with the last being shortly after CES 2023, for the iPhone 14 models. And now, as we are about to head to CES 2024, we just had to get the TORRAS UPRO cases for the iPhone 15. How about that for what feels like poetic justice.

Our Review of the TORRAS UPRO PStand iPhone Case with Stand

I think I mentioned this in the video, but I have no idea why this is called the PStand. Considering that there is one called the OStand, the letter P is after that, so perhaps this is a sequel?

So yes, I would suppose that the main unique feature of this PStand is its kickstand, which I mention in the video comes out at a strange angle, but it is perfect for standing up the iPhone either vertically or horizontally. Oh, and there is also MagSafe capability as well.

Oh, and then there is its SGS certified protection, which can protect against shocks and drops. Yes, it is pretty good, and it comes in many colors, but I have to admit the one that I have in the video doesn’t seem to match the seven on the website.

Our Review of the TORRAS UPRO OStand iPhone Case with Stand

So yes, this is the OStand, called that because there is an “O” on the back that can fold out. From there, you can stand it up, in portrait or landscape mode.

The OStand is 3X Magnetic on this ring, but I’m still not certain if this case is MagSafe compatible. I mean, the ring on the back is certainly magnetic enough.

Like the PStand, there is some military drop protection. Of course, that means that it can take some hits. So that is very good, right?

Facts About The Company

I’m just going to guess and say that TORRAS is a relatively new company, but that could be only because I just heard of them this year. I don’t know, I tend to see these companies tucked away at CES and assume they are newer companies. Maybe I need to stop making assumptions when I am at CES.

From what I read on TORRAS “About Us” page, the company appears to be very committed to the environment. They claim that any purchase from TORRAS will help grow more trees and create a greener planet. In fact, they have planted 1,474 trees, and plan to grow 100,000 trees by the end of 2030.
