Speck Presidio 2 Pro and Presidio Perfect-Clear Grip for the iPhone

January 28, 2024 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

I’m pleased to see that Speck is up to its old tricks, and I got to see them again at CES 2024.

Our Review of the Speck Presidio 2 Pro MagSafe for iPhone 15 Pro Max

I’m going to say that I fully enjoyed the feel of the Presidio2 Pro, as it just feels good. Yes, I probably shouldn’t judge a case by how it feels, or anything by how something feels, but dude, the Presidio2 Pro just feels very good in the hand.

Not only that, it is also a good feeling for the iPhone, as the Presidio2 Pro is lined with patented air capsules that will compress on impact, suspending the phone on a cushion of air. It means that it can withstand a drop of 13 feet, and there is raised bezel, too.

There is also an antimicrobial treatment from Microban that can deliver up to a 99 percent reduction in stain and odor-causing bacteria on the case.

Our Review of the Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear Grip MagSafe for iPhone 15 Pro Max

So, there is this Interlock system on the Presidio Perfect-Clear Grip, which has some ClickLock no slip technology that is patented. Apparently, it has a bolt that locks accessories onto your phone into place creating less friction and therefore less chance of slippage.

Personally, what I really liked was the no-slip grips, and that feels like it has been patented. Like the Presidio 2, it is made of 50 percent recycled plastics. There’s one greatly reduced carbon footprint!

Oh, and that Microban antimicrobial product protection with 99 percent reduction in stain and odor-causing bacteria on the case, is also in effect. It’s got the raised bezel, too.

Facts About The Company

So, Speck has been in business since 2001, and located in Silicon Valley. The landscape of mobile devices has changed a lot since 2001, and I believe that it supports “Life, Better Lived”.

What Does This Company Make?

I associate Speck with smartphone cases, and they also make iPad and AirPods cases, also for the MacBook. It appears that Speck makes bags as well! We’re going to have to do some more reviews, man.

Okay, are you really asking me to say it there are other iPhone cases? Man, do I really want to do the research?

Fine. There is ZAGG. There is TORRAS. A little more expensive was MUJJO. And then there is UAG. Oh yeah, and then there is Catalyst.
