I am hoping that all you football fans will appreciate this football player, now that the Superbowl players are official. Yes, that was my attempt at being contemporary, as I would like to talk about CES 2014.
Yes, I know that was two weeks ago, but I’ll probably talking about it all year. Chances are, a lot of these products were introduced at the convention, and I’ll probably be reporting about them all year. I want to bring up something that I didn’t really see much of at CES 2014, and that is 3D. I remember after the movie Avatar, everyone was like 3D crazy, and it was all over CES 2010 and 2011. Not so much in 2014, but there was this Commander tablet, with glasses-free 3D.
The Commander is a 10.2 x 6.7 inch tablet, and it runs Android 4.0 with 1.5GHz dual-core and A9 processor. Now if only Samsung’s 12.2 Galaxy tablet has the same processing unit, the PowerVR SGX544, which is capable of converting 2D movies, vid clips, games, and photos into 3D, in realtime. Other specs include 2 Megapixel front camera, 5 Megapixel rear camera, SD card slot, and mini HDMI.
So how much is it? Well, it is $995.00 here. Yeah, that is pretty expensive, compared to other tablets of the same size, but not the same dimensions.
