Pebblebee Review Part 2: The CLIP, The TAG, and The CARD

June 12, 2024 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

We have reviewed Pebblebee before, and I was surprised to receive another product from them for review. I’ll start with the newest first, and I might just reprint what I had before if the stats haven’t changed.

Our Review of the PebbleBee TAG

Like I said before, I have not yet reviewed the TAG. This finder works with the PebbleBee App as well as Google Find My Device.

The TAG comes with a small rubbery cover so you can attach it to things like luggage, and you can also stick it on as well. From there, you can use your Android device to find whatever it is that you are looking for. You can definitely hear a beep and suddenly, you have what you are looking for.

Now, this is where it gets a little hard to talk about. I tried out the new versions of the TAG and the CARD, as well as the CLIP. For some reason, I could not get them to work, and I put this on my video so I can explain what I did, and how what the PebbleBee app suggested that I do didn’t work either.

Our Review of the PebbleBee CARD

I’ll start with the Pebblebee Card, which feels like a few credit cards stuck together. It is very lightweight, and on a full charge, it will last 12 months. It has a USB-C charger that magnetically sticks to the card for good charging.

The PebbleBee Card is also IPX6 water resistant, and I misspoke on the video about its range. I thought it was normal Bluetooth at about 30 feet, but the PebbleBee website specifies about 500 feet. That’s pretty far.

Much of the other specs, which you can see below, are pretty much the same, but you will note on the video that the prices are different.

Our Review of the PebbleBee CLIP

As for the PebbleBee Clip, much of the specs remain the same. A full charge will give you about 3 months, and it can be recharged with a USB-C to USB-C charger.

Oh, and the Clip is also IPX6 Water Resistant, with the 500 feet of range. I think that I forgot to mention that both of these devices use the Google Find My Device (or Apple’s similar app, depending on the model that you purchased).

Okay, I don’t know if I can get these particular products set up correctly, but you are welcome to leave comments here or on my video to see if I did this correctly.

Facts About The Company

Apparently, PebbleBee emerged in 2012 as the founder noticed how toddlers like to hide things like keys and remote controls. This was as early 2012, and PebbleBee began to get aerospace engineers involved from a lot of big tech companies. PebbleBee makes these products for both consumers and businesses, and continues to produce some great products.

What Does This Company Make?

I was able to find another product that this company makes known as the Tag, and I’m just going to say that it does the same thing as the Clip and the Card. By the way, you can get some deals on the Clip and the Card if you buy them in bulk.

What Do the Reviews Say?

The SnapGrip Creator Kit is 4 out of 5 stars out of 65 reviews, and I couldn’t find the bag.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

The most similar product that I could find is the Cube GPS tracker. I have actually reviewed this Cube company before.

I also reviewed something else called the Rinex, which I also liked, a lot. I barely remember reviewing the Chipolo, but it is quite good as well. I reviewed that Chipolo One as well.
