I have reviewed products from id America, like the Spark headphones before. I will have to say that I am usually pleased with what id America does, and I suppose the Metropolitan is a cheaper version of the Spark.
The Metropolitan are, in their own words: “light-weight aluminum headphones that offer comfort and superior audio performance by creating an optimal seal for improved sound isolation”. Right now, I am trying them out by listening to Netflix again, and I will attest to this slogan/motto.
What I like is the in-line microphone module. One touch to the button allows for answering a call or resuming playback after a call. Hitting the button twice advancing to the next song, and hitting it three times takes you back to the previous song.
I do like the cord. It isn’t rubberized wire like most, and it is tangle-free. You should be able to get the Metropolitan in six colors of red, green, pink, white, back, or blue on the id America site for about $29.95.
