Our Review of the Flic Smart Buttons

February 4, 2023 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

I’m not certain how to describe what Flic is but “smart buttons”, and there really isn’t any better way to describe them. I mean, you have a button, and it connects via Bluetooth or to a Hub to do…whatever it is that you want it to do.

Now, you can see the video how I received a sample kit. This particular kit came with a hub that plugs into the wall as well as a router, and it helps to control the buttons. In fact, this one came with the ability to make some sounds, but I had to hook up some speakers to the hub in order to hear them.

Of course, if you want to do more than just sound effects, you can do that. In fact, you probably should. I found that it works with all kinds of things, and they are too numerous to list.

Now, here’s the real interesting thing: you don’t necessarily need a hub as these particular buttons can link up with your smartphone. From there, I believe you can do just about anything. You can see in the video how it can take my picture or find a phone.

Honestly, there were just too many things that I could do with this. The kit I had is not for sale, but you can get yourself a Starter Kit for about $169.99 on the Flic site. If you want to see what else is available, check out the Flic shop, as it will not disappoint!
