I have covered a lot of covers on this blog. I know that sounds repetitive, but from Otterbox, to Lifeproof, to Element Case, I thought I had seen them all as far as smartphone protection was concerned. Then along comes Moshi with the SenseCover for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
The SenseCover is designed to give the new flagship Android phone some serious protection on both sides. It has an inner shell for protecting the phone itself, and then there is a nifty flip cover with a magnetic clasp. As you can see, there is a window on the front, but I am not certain if there is any “glass” or transparent membrane there.
So what is with the window? Well, this is where the bonus features come in. Now S5 users will be able to answer or reject calls or turn off alarms when this case is closed. There is even a free Moshi SenseCover application that enables additional functions such as checking notifications, play/pause audio, even taking Instagram pictures without ever opening up the flap.
This isn’t the first time that I have seen products like the SenseCover for mobile phones, but I will have to say that I like the direction Moshi is taking. I expect to see even more products like this in future. In the meantime, you should be able to get it in pink or black for about $44.95 at the Moshi site. Click here for more information.
