Reolink Atlas Security Camera with Solar Panel Charger Review!

July 19, 2025 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

So, I have reviewed a lot of security cameras in the past. The review is always the same, where I set it up, show the footage, and allow my subscribers the chance to see if it is right for them. When it comes to the Reolink Atlas, some things are done differently, which I have to admire.

For starters, most of these type of cameras come with some type of hub, where you just plug it into your router and it connects with the cameras. I guess since I have only used one of these cameras, maybe that is why.

Still, I like the Atlas, and the footage looks really great. Yes, there is some night vision here, and yes, it looks like there is a white light on my face, but part of that is its autolighting after it detects something. By the way, I didn’t really demonstrate this, but this has ColorX Night Vision, but man, this camera can see so clearly, I feel like a cat.

Let’s get to some of the stats: You can get 540 days of security on a single charge. If you are worried about the weather, it is good for below 20 degrees Celsius. It has Dual-Ban Wi-Fi 6 with wider coverage on multiple devices.

I didn’t really talk about the charger on the video, but I can tell you that it is 6W, and it only needs 10 minutes of daily sunlight to keep the camera running.

If you want to get this for yourself, check it out on the Reolink site for about $149.00, but $142.49 is what I have at this time of writing.

Facts About The Company

According to the “About Us” website, this company was founded in 2009 to deal with intelligent visual tech at home. I’m assuming that by visual tech, it means cameras, as I see a lot of them.

What Does This Company Make?

I’m just going to go out on a limb and say: “cameras”. That’s pretty much all I’m seeing on the Reolink website, and we’ll be sure to see about reviewing more of these.

Just the Specs, Man

If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!

I can’t seem to find any specs about them on the website, so…yeah, I got nothin’.

If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

I’ve reviewed other security cameras, like those from Toucan. Then there was that one from Logitech.

I’m pretty certain that I reviewed the AOSU SolarCam, which I replaced the one from Eufy.
