Our Review of the ESR MagMouse

May 5, 2025 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

All right, this isn’t the first time that I have reviewed an ESR product, and it surely won’t be the last time, I hope. As I will reveal later, I have reviewed cases and chargers from them, but this is the first time I’ve reviewed a mouse, and the MagMouse is unlike any other.

What makes it different is how you can travel with it. All you need to do is stick this holder (for lack of a better word) onto just about anything. That holder sticks on with the power of adhesive, but the mouse sticks on with the power of magnets. Now, I thought that this could be some sort of wireless charger, but it isn’t quite like that.

Well, as far as the charging is concerned, you can flip out a USB-C charging cord, and it charges fast with 1 hour for 4 hours of use, and 45 minutes for 80 days of use. From there, you got access to all the cool buttons, including the 4-way side scrolling wheel. There are also silent buttons for 90 percent less noise, and 6 DPI settings. It also has an ergonomic design, so it fits in your hand really well.

By the way, there are two ways to connect wirelessly to the laptop. You can do Bluetooth, and you can do 2.4 GHz, and there is a dongle for that. For Bluetooth, you have to sync it with a button, but hey.

And hey, I don’t really have a price for this. This is a Kickbooster/Kickstarter project, so hey. I wish I had some more information on it, but I don’t at this time.

Facts About The Company

ESR was founded in 2009, and apparently has a user base of 123 million people worldwide. They certainly make a lot of mobile accessories, and the number one brand for MagSafe accessories.

What Does This Company Make?

Okay, so here are the other products, and you can get a lot of cool accessories that are compatible with MagSafe. There are also device protection like cases and such. Here are the products that I have reviewed from them in the past:

ESR Review: HaloLock 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with CryoBoost and Kickstand Power Bank

ESR iPhone 14/13 Classic Hybrid Case with HaloLock

Just the Specs, Man

If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!

I don’t think that I have an section on specs for this product. Maybe its too new.

If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

Well, considering that I don’t know the price, I can’t really give this. So, I also have to admit that I have never even seen a mouse like this, that is, having that magnetic holder.

I would suggest just checking my site for reviews of mice, and you will see a lot of them, especially ergonomic ones.
