Well, fresh off the heels of reviewing the Roccat Syn Max Air, I have another cool Roccat product to review with the Vulcan II Max. And just after I reviewed the Roccat Vulcan II Mini.
So, you should know that this has some Titan II Optical Mechanical Switches, and I’m not really certain what that means, but it does have some pretty light clickin’ going on. I am told that this is the “World’s First Dual-LED, and I am also not certain what that means.
So, shall I talk about the lighting of it? Oh, it certainly is quite something. It has a powerful 32-Bit Arm Cortex M3 Processor with next gen AIMO technology lighting effects, for double the resolution of other keyboards. So I have to talk about the Palm Rest. All you need to do is just plug it in and the lights kind of trickle-down to it.
So what else does it have? How about some on-board storage for up to 4 user profiles, third party keycap compatibility, and smart keys with dedicated LED indicate when secondary functions are active.
Oh, I should also talk about the media controls with play/pause, rewind, forward, and the turning volume control (which will mute at a touch).
So, I am told that this is available on the Roccat site for $229.99. I am told that is good for one million keystrokes.
