Cube Tracker Review, with the Cube Shadow, Cube PRO, and Cube Original

June 5, 2020 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

All right, it is time to review a product that is similar to a type that we have reviewed before. Most recently it was the Spotypal, and before that, it was the Chipolo (four years ago) not to mention the Wisktiki Voila (also four years ago). This would be the Cube Tracker, and it comes in three forms: Shadow, Pro, and Original (or just Cube Tracker).

Our Review of the Cube Tracker (aka Cube Original

If you are not familiar with these trackers, they are a little fob of a device that has one button, so as not to confuse anyone. This one has a rubber coating, and it is made to find your phone when you can’t find the phone but the button, and vice versa.

Yes, once you pair the Cube Original with your smartphone, you can hit the button and your phone will ring. The set up is done with an application that was easy to download and use, and man, I swear it made the loudest ring that I have heard in a while.

However, if it isn’t your phone that you have lost, then you might have lost the Cube Original. All you need to do is open up the application, and hit “Find” and a small siren sound will come from the Cube Original. Now you won’t lose your keys or whatever you attach the Cube Tracker to again.

Oh man, this is just your basic model, and it can be purchased at a low price for about $24.95 on the Cube Tracker site.

Our Review of the Cube Tracker PRO

Okay, so we lets talk about the PRO version of the Cube Tracker. Since it has the “PRO” at the end, you would think that it would be an upgrade. Well, it is.

The Cube Tracker PRO has an extended range, and it also has an extended volume as well. By the way, it has a metal design, but I am not certain if it is possible to be more durable, like taking the blow of a hammer.

In addition to the attach and track feature, the Cube Tracker app can view the Cube’s last location on a map, which will use the power of Bluetooth to tell the user if he or she (or you) is near (or far), and you will hear that Cube ring. Wait a second! The Cube Original has that feature too!

There isn’t a lot of big changes on the price, as it is $29.95 on the Cube Tracker site.

Our Review of the Cube Tracker Shadow

So, has anything changed with the Cube Tracker Shadow? Well, it does have an adhesive pad on the back to literally stick to the thing you want the Cube Tracker to.

Oh, it is also very thin at 2 mm thick. It is good for attaching to small things like a wallet or something else.

Besides that, most of the features are just basically the same. It can be purchased on the Cube Tracker site for $39.95.
